Street Art in Pittsburgh

For awhile now I’ve wanted to go out and take pictures of some of the awesome street art in Pittsburgh. So, I did that today. Thanks to organizations such as The Sprout Fund, shitty looking buildings around Pittsburgh got a face lift from local artists. Here are some photos of murals and sculptures around Lawrenceville, Garfield, and Friendship. I took the photos with my iPhone, so I apologize for the graininess in some, especially ones that I had to zoom in on!

  1. This is great! I am from Pittsburgh and the last time I was home (November) I noticed the Warholian water lily paintings all over the city. Do you know who does those? They’re fabulous.

    • Hey Drew, thanks for kind comments. I don’t know who the artist is or if it is more than one artist who does the Warhol flowers around town. I’ve been hunting all over the Internet because I am curious as well! If I find out I will definitely update this post!
